Diversity in the School Environment

Children come in all shapes, sizes, and colors, and with a variety of personalities. They also come from varying socioeconomic classes and have a variety of academic skills. As a teacher, it is my job to make sure that each member of my class feels that they are welcome and that they are a positive addition to the classroom collective. It is also my responsibility to make sure that the other students in my classroom treat each other with respect and dignity.
