I was born into a very large family. My parents are foster parents and, through the years, they have cared for over 120 children. They have adopted six of them. Click here to find out more about them.
I began college in August of 1996. I was there two years when I met Laurence during a summer work program in Yellowstone National Park. Laurence and I were engaged and we had our first son, Jacob in 1999. We were married in August of 2000. Our second son, Gabriel was born in July of 2001.
My family is my life. They are one of the main reasons I decided to become a teacher in the first place. They are my support and they are where I go when I need ideas and support in this challenging field.
